Bangalore: Our “caste identity” thesis has reached a fairly advanced stage and is now widely accepted at the practical level.
The best example in the whole world is that of Jews. And the Jew’s love for his community. The Jews became the most powerful community in the world only by taking the route of blindly loving their community.
Once a hated community, not only dispersed all over the Western world but persecuted by the local population (and killed in dozens), today they are having a country of their own — Israel. Not only that. Today they are dictating terms to the world’s most powerful superpower, the USA. And also, UK and other countries.
The power of Jews is an acknowledged fact. And the secret of this power is their sheer blind love of their community (jati in the case of India) even though they are a micro-minority population. No Jew hates another Jew.
The Jews and the “Jews of India”, who are also a micro-minority community, prove that a community need not have the population strength to become rulers. What is needed is blind love of one’s community. This is “caste identity”.
