I have been closely following the debate on the Jamate-Islam in Dalit Voice. I recently came across a book, Dialogue between Hindus and Muslims, by the Jamate-Islam and edited by the then editor of the Radiance, S. Ameenul Hasan Rizvi. The ‘dialogue’that this book claims to contain is essentially an exchange of polemical views between hard core Hindu nazi men like K.R. Malkani and activists of the Jamat. There is absolutely no mention of a dialogue between Muslims and Dalits/BCs. Does this not show that the Jamat is willing to enter into a dialogue with only the brahminical fascists and chooses to completely neglect the Dalits, BCs and other such oppressed non- Muslim social groups?
Please continue the debate on the Jamat so that the truth many finally triumph. The debate has been going on for over an year and even non-Muslims have started participating in it. We would like to conclude the debate with a final reply – EDITOR.
