Jail for violating quota in Bihar 

Patna: Governor Shafi Qureshi has promulgated an ordinance providing for penal action against those violating the reservation policy and extending the reservation policy to the judicial services applicable up to the additional district judge level. The appointing officer would enforce imprisonment of three months or a fine of Rs. 1,000 or both at the same time should one ignore the provisions of reservation while making the appointments.
