The talk of the town is that “judiciary is our only hope” when every other institution of the country legislature, executive, media, industry, education and financial institutions etc. has failed. It is also said the judges are above politics.
But in the corruption cases of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalita, ex-Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao and many other political leaders this facade that “Judiciary is above politics” cracked up long back. Political partisanship is so visible in the case of High Court and Supreme Court judges. A retired Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Justice Venkatachalaiah, a Bangalore Brahmin at the behest of Vajpayee’s Hindu Nazi Govt., headed a commission to rebuild the Constitution to suit the Hindu nazi agenda. Another Brahmin Chief Justice, Ranganath Mishra, became a Congress Rajya Sabha MP and is today heading another commission. Many such instances of political leaders purchasing sitting Supreme Court Chief Justices and judges are there proving that our judges also suffer from caste prejudices.
Bihar caste war: Then why blame only politicians? Nobody in India is above caste prejudice which is the worst form of prejudice as the Indian caste system is considered more serious than racism. India is a first-rate racist society.
On Sept 29, 2005, Supreme Court said if it decided to quash the Bihar Assembly dissolution by Governor Buta Singh it would give a brief order before Oct. 18 when the first phase of Bihar Assembly poll would begin. This order will once again drag the judiciary into the political arena either favouring Lalu Prasad Yadav or the pro-Hindu nazi faction led by Nitish Kumar-Ram Vilas Paswan gang.
What is going on in Bihar is a “caste war” between the haves and havenots. The Nitish-Paswan-Hindu nazi combine represents the upper caste haves. Lalu Prasad heads a formidable combination of deprived Yadavas, Muslims and Dalits.
The upper castes are bent upon breaking Lalu. They used every means to finish him. The judiciary, media. CBI, bureaucracy, business have all moved heaven and earth to finish Lalu but they couldn’t touch his one hair.
Upper caste bias in court: The Supreme Court is now called upon to arbitrate on a constitutional and legal issue but not to settle political disputes. To repeat: The sanctity of all our Institutions either constitutional or otherwise has gone to dogs. Even the High Courts have become partisan. Corruption in higher judiciary is another serious matter. The pro-upper caste bias of the Supreme Court became again evident in its recent judgments. (DV Edit Sept. 16, 2005: “We welcome long over-due confrontation between judiciary and executive”).
If the Supreme Court cancels the Bihar Assembly dissolution, even as the Election Commission has already begun the election process, its political implications will be disastrous. The Supreme Court may save the Paswan-Nitish-Hindu nazi combine and please the upper caste rulers. But it will trigger a chain reaction and promote further sharpening of caste contradictions in Bihar. This will be also welcome.
If Nitish Kumar, a Backward Caste Kurmi who is not hated by the upper castes, manages to become the Chief Minister of Bihar as a result of the Supreme Court order, Lalu will have to quit the Union Cabinet. His powerful upper caste enemies will then cry for his blood and get him arrested as they did last time.
Fall of UPA Govt: What will be the outcome? Will Lalu then keep quiet? He may force the Sonia Gandhi-led UPA Govt. in Delhi to dismiss the Nitish Govt. in Bihar to save himself from arrest. If Lalu is not protected by Sonia Gandhi, he may withdraw his party support and the UPA Govt. may then fall.
If the Supreme Court does not revive the Bihar Assembly and the election proceeds. the Lalu-led combine may win though it is too early to make a definite prediction.
The Brahminical media is creating all sorts of confusions. It is not coming out with truth. So it is difficult to predict things now. But the caste equations indicate a Lalu win.
The upper caste combine is not united. The Hindu nazi party (BJP) is pulling Nitish down. CPI is a party of Bhumihar Brahmin landlords and hence a liability to Paswan. His closeness to Hindu nazis may not attract Muslim votes.
After having played mischief in the last Assembly election, the Corigress-the original Brahminical party of India is this time careful with Lalu.
Because the Congress rightly fears that if Lalu loses Bihar, the Congress may lose India.
That is why Sonia is going out of the way to please Lalu. Because Sonia has realized her party’s earlier mistakes. Lalu is Bihar and Bihar is Lalu. That is why this time the Congress is fully with Lalu. And his alliance with the Congress. CPM. NCP is the most formidable.
If Lalu again wins in Bihar, the Congress will get more strength and Sonia’s leadership will get further consolidated.
No confidence in Manmohan Singh: She has to then concentrate on reshuffling the Union Cabinet. This Sikh Khatri (merchant class) Manmohan Singh-led Govt. with a Chettiar (money-lender) Chidambaram as Finance Minister and a World Bank nominee Ahluwalia as Planning Commission chief is dragging the country towards the American-dictated market economy. That is why Banias and blood-suckers are dancing. The stock markets are booming as if the country is hitting unprecedented prosperity while the UN Human Development Report speaks of India’s miserable record.
Harshad Mehta was the creation of Manmohan Singh as Finance Minister under Neogi Brahmin P.V. Narasimha Rao’s period. The same fellow today is our PM and many more Harshad Mehtas are getting ready to drag the country down.
Manmohan Singh is an honest capitalist-roader and hence not suited to lead a poverty stricken country rotting under racism. He wants “growth” but we need social justice.
We express our strong no confidence in his leadership. He is a liability to Sonia who is doing well. If she has to win the next parliament election she has to choose a dynamic person who will inspire the confidence of the Bahujans.
