Bangalore: “Hindus believe what they want to believe”
Our readers must have got this sentence byheart by now. This is an important statement because it sums up the “Hindu Mind” which is the cause of all our current crisis: (Read our booklet: Hindu Mind and its Hindi version – DSA).
We had said that the Gujarati Bania, “Harshad Mehta is darling of the ruling class” (DV July 1, 92 p. 18) and we had also said since Hindus loved Harshad nothing would happen to him and to the “scam”. We have proved right.
Not only Harshad is out of jail and back in his saddle but he is going strong day by day. All other culprits arrested including the notorious lyer are all freed. The Mangalore Gowda Saraswat Brahmin’s Fair growth also has crossed all hurdles. It is now as it was an year back.
Now, comes the news that the four senior officers of the Reserve Bank, all belonging to one particular community, who were suspended for involvement in this “Fraud of the Century” are reinstated. The four sus- pended officers are P. Mukerji, S. Nagarajan, M.T. Pitkar and Mrs. M.R. Kamat. All of them were working in the Public Debt Office of the RBI and just agents of Harshad.
JPC eye-wash: Meanwhile, the JPC probe is proving to be an eyewash. It is prolonging the show so that the “public” forget the whole thing. Except getting lot of publicity in the press nothing concrete seems to be happening.
How can one thief catch another thief? The lyer heading the Reserve Bank, the kingpin in this “Fraud of the Centuary”, got a certificate from the World Bank chief itself. When the PM and FM are defending the lyer what can anybody do? Whole thing is farce.
Bangarappa corrupt: But Bangarappa is “corrupt” and he was dismissed. Why, because he doesn’t belong to the charmed circle of Aryans. But the Bangalore papatti is not. She is an Aryan and hence can never be corrupt.
In a country ruled by such Aryan Harshad Mehtas where the thief, police, persecutor, judge, jailor and hangman are all rolled in one, how can we expect justice? But the people bulldozed by these Aryans are not getting angry. What can we do?
