DV to launch a new column on Periyar EVR 

From the coming issue of Dalit Voice (July 16, 2009) we will start a new fiery column, “Thus Spake Periyar”, on the request of our family members world-wide. Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy of Tamil Nadu is ranked next only to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Father of India. Periyar’s writings and speeches, running into thousands and thousands of pages, being in Tamil did not receive the attention because they were not in English. Besides it suffered the blackout from the Brahminical Social Order which called him “the most hated person in India”, much more than Babasaheb. That means he automatically must become our dearest person EDITOR.
