Bangalore: When Brahminism is admitted as our principal enemy, then we have to bend all our energies to destroy it. One of the ways to do it is to break all big states into smaller ones. That is why DV has always supported the demand for separate Telangana. And the break-up of all bigger states.
Congress bosses of AP may say violence is not the way to achieve it. But no demand of the oppressed was ever achieved without war and violence. Brahminism is against smaller states because smaller the state blood-sucking becomes more difficult.
Fear of upper castes: One argument of the oppressed castes within the Telangana comprising nine districts, which includes the capital city of Hyderabad, is that the very same Velamas (2%), Reddis 8% and 2% Karnams will dominate the new state with 30% OBCs, 25% Dalits and 33% Muslims.
K. Chandrasekhar Rao, heading the Telangana movement, is a Velama, also a landed upper caste. AP consists of three regions of which Telangana is the most backward. The other two are Rayalaseema and the coastal Andhra, the most advanced.
Every state (the country itself) is dominated by the upper castes who in turn are controlled by the Brahmins. The landed shudra castes control the states and the Brahmin in Delhi.
Khamma, Reddy domination: It is true that the Reddis and Khammas of the coastal Andhra, who control Hyderabad today, will not allow separation of Telangana. Nor will the Brahmins.
The ruling Congress has conceded Telangana but to get Hyderabad City included in it, Chandrasekhar Rao may have to fast again and perhaps die like Potti Sriramulu who died in 1952 to annex AP from Madras state. That means more violence. They may not even agree to constitute Hyderabad into a central territory like Chandigarh.
Language no criterion: The fear of the over 85% oppressed, including Muslims of Telangana, is of Velama-Reddy domination. Does not matter.
India was never one single nation. Caste alone is a nation (Caste – A Nation Within the Nation, V.T. Rajshekar. Rs. 140, write to DV for copy) in such a multi-national country.
Casteism is killing the country. We can strengthen the unity of India by breaking it into tiny “nations”. Bodoland, Bundelkhand, Old Mysore, Vidarbha, Kodagu, Gorkhaland etc. etc.
Remember, language is not the criterion. Why did the Brahmins carve out a separate state of Uttarakhand out of UP-both Hindi speaking?
Otherwise, ever-lasting caste wars will destroy all of US.
