Bangalore: The Editor of Dalit Voice has sent a cable congratulating Ms. Carol Moseley Braun of Illinois who became the first Black woman elected to the US Senate on Nov.4. The Editor’s book, DALIT – The Black Untouchables of India (Clarity Press. 1987) and the Nov. 16 issue of Dalit Voice, which carries two articles on racism in India, were posted separately to her US Congress address.
The Blacks in US celebrated the defeat of Butcher Bush and DV joins our Black sisters and brothers in this celebration.
