- AMBEDKAR INTERNATIONAL MISSION LITERARY AWARDS-2001
It gives us immense pleasure to announce the following awards for the best literary contribution to the Dalit movement in the year 2001
1.Dr. Ambedkar International Mission Literary Award:
For the best contribution in the field of Dalit literature during 2001. The applicant should be from India or abroad and should submit their contribution (books etc.) in duplicate to any of the addresses given below..
The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 25,000, momento and a certificate
- Dr. Ambedkar International Mission Award (Budhist Award for Contribution to Budhist movement in India):
The applicants should be writers or social workers, Budhist monks. Please submit your books or its synopsis (2 copies).
The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 5,000, a momento and a certificate.
- Dr. Ambedkar International Award (Maharashtra State Award):
To the best contribution to be given to the Dalit literature The applicant should be from the Maharashtra. Please submit your books (2 copies) published during 2001.
The award conies a cash prize of Rs. 5.000. a momento and a certificate.
- Dr. Ambedkar International Mission Award (5mt. Sulochanabai Dongre Ladies Award) Award will be given to the best contribution to Dalit literature by the woman candidate. Please submit your books/literary work in duplicate. Only women need apply. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 10.000. momento and a certificate.
- Dr. Ambedkar International Mission Literary Award (Dalit Magazine Award)
This award will be given to the best Dalit magazine of the year. Please send 3 copies each of a minimum 3 Issues (distributed in 2001) of the Dalit magazine published during 2001.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 5,000, a momento and a certificate.
All the above awards will be given based on the works during 2001. The applications shall be submitted on or before March 31, 2002. Applications and the works should be sent to the Award Selection Committee and the awards will be announced in July/August 2002. The awards will be presented at a public function in india in Sept./Oct. 2002
