Double-Standard of Indian Courts?

New Delhi: Simranjit Singh Mann has asked why the Supreme Court was in a hurry on the Sukha and Jinda executions. None of the people involved in the 1984 massacre’ in Delhi, Bhagat, Sajjan Kumar, Tytler and Dharamdas Shastri had been caught. No final judgment had been pronounced by the apex court in the Befors and the Ayodhya cases. “Why don’t they catch hold of Win Chadha and bring him here”, he asked and added that instead the Supreme Court had caught hold of the Speaker of Manipur and directed the impounding of his passport.
