Democracy for Saudi? 

Riyadh: Over 50 religious scholars, judges, university professors have presented a memorandum to King Fahd of Saudi Arabia. The document contained the official support of two known religious scholars, Shaikh Abdulaziz Bin Baz and Shaikh Mohamed bin Saleh Bin Othaimeen. The memorandum reflects once again the dire need for political, social, economic and administrative reforms in the country. The document emphasized the importance of granting individuals their fundamental human rights that are sanctioned by international human rights conventions. (The Universal Message July 91, Karachi).
