Bangalore: The five-member Tamate team of Samata Sainik Dal returned here on Sept. 28, after its historic trip to Japan. The Tamate (drum) concert proved to be the biggest attraction at the International Human Rights Festival at Fukuoka. Its thundering beats made the participants dance with joy. The team was felicitated by the Dalits of Karnataka on Sept. 29 at a public function here. The team consisted of M. Venkataswamy Mrs. C.V. Lakshmi, Munivenkatappa, Narasimhaiah and Obalappa.
