We are glad to announce that at our Shimla DV workshop (July 9-11, 2004), Bharatiya Dalit Chintan Sahitya Sangh (BDCSS) has been constituted with the following office-bearers:
- Prof. Gurnam Singh Muktsar of Punjab, (2) J.R. Antwal, New Delhi, (3) R.S. Kataria – Haryana, (4) Fateh Singh – Chandigarh, (5) T.R. Azad – Jammu and (6) Subhash Chand Musafir – Himachal Pradesh. The Sangh will be headed by the Editor of Dalit Voice, V.T. Rajshekar. Formal bylaws of the Sangh will be framed later. It shall carry out the following activities for the liberation of Dalits:
Sahitya (Literature of Dalits), education, sports, Dalit culture and explore talents among Dalit youth and honour them.
