Dalit Chief Engineer

DALIT CHIEF ENGINEER: We are glad to announce the appointment of L Shivalingiah, a noted Ambedkarite scholar for the first time to the prestigious post of chief engineer, (bldgs, & comm) in the Karnataka PWD. He is responsible for the publication of several books on Ambedkar and a great pillar of strength to the dalit movement in the country. The Karnataka Dalit Action Committee has decided to felicitate him at a function in Bangalore shortly.
