Auragabad: Mobs went on the rampage in different localities on Nov. 29 to protest against the desecration of statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Paithan on Nov. 27. Mobs fanned out indulging in stone-throwing and damaging buses and at the railway station, Jalna Road, Mukundanagar and Ambedkarnagar in the CIDCO area.
Activists of the Republican Party of India both Gavade and Athavale groups – took out processions in various localities to condemn the incident. (Hindu Nov.30)
