CPM Leader Sacked

The Karnataka CPM secretary M. K. Bhat is sacked and in his place another Brahmin, P. Ramachandra Rao, is appointed. The party had a backward class leader Krishnappa as its secretary but he was removed bringing the first split in the party five years ago. The charge is he encouraged casteism.
