New Delhi: Christians in Arunachal Pradosh are being denied their basic and fundamental right to practise their religion and they are being discriminated against by a highly hostile administration. With this assertion a group of 19 Arunachal Christian youth leaders have come to the capital to make the rest of the country aware of the “harassment and persecution of about 20.000 Christians in this north-eastern union territory. Tadar Tanleng leader of the group and also a Congress leader, told newsmen here that the treatment being meted out to Arunachal Christians raises a basic question: are they Indian citizens ?
