The Pejawara Swami has taken pledge to reconvert to Hinduism 15 Harijan Christian families at Bukkacherla village in Kudair Panchayat, 15 km. from Anantapur, in AP. The Anantapur correspondent of the Hindu (22 July) says Pejawara Swamy who visited the village was “pained to find an old temple of Narasimhaswami in the Harijan colony converted into a Church”.
