There is SO much of misunderstanding and propaganda against caste that every educated youth, particularly in metropolitan cities is fully brainwashed to conclude that caste is the cause of all our country’s ills.
You are also made to believe that caste is dead. What is driving the society is money. Economics determines everything.
Another propaganda is: It is the politicians who are destroying our society by reviving and promoting the dead caste.
After the politician, the second most hated objective in India is the Dalit Voice and its Editor. They are spoiling the whole atmosphere.
MATRIMONIAL ADVT.
So much so the educated, particularly the English-knowing youth have started believing only myths-not facts. So wait a minute. I will tell you where the Truth lies:
I have brought with me the latest issue of the Times of India, which has become the darling of all the English-educated Westernised elites of Bangalore.
I will read out from its popular matrimonial pages – two full pages from its latest Sunday edition Nov.29, 2009. There is no politician here or the hand of Dalit Voice. Every person advertising here claim that he or she is highly educated and Westernised. But as I go on reading you can make out that in each ad the caste of the boy or girl is stressed. Even when it is specifically mentioned “caste is no bar”, the advertiser mentions his or her caste.
See the hypocrisy of this elite upper castes.
Do you know all the upper castes, particularly the Brahmins run free hostels for their jati boys and girls. And yet say they don’t believe in caste.
ONLY 5% KNOW ENGLISH
Who are the country’s highest educated lot? Not Dalits. Not Muslims or OBCs or Tribals. It is the upper castes and particularly the Brahmins.
India has a mere 5% English knowing people. In this, 90% are upper castes.
It is these Western educated Hindu upper castes who say they hate caste and yet marry only within the caste. Their double standards are so blatant in the matrimonial pages which I read out.
If you ask an educated urban young man he honestly says he hates caste and confesses that caste is killing India.
MARRYING WITHIN THE CASTE
Put one simple question to him.
Q: “Whom did you marry?”
He will say that he married his jati girl but quickly adds: “That is the only time I observed caste”. This one single instance of marrying within the caste is the sole cause of promoting the caste.
Caste perpetuates when you marry within the caste.
So who is promoting the caste? Not the politicians. Not the Dalit Voice. It is the very Brahminical upper castes who are hanging on to their caste and promoting their jati interests. And yet misleading the society that caste is bad.
A very harsh statement. But unfortunately 150% true. I will tell you how this statement is 150% true.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, who is described by the upper castes as the maker of the Indian constitution, demanded a legislation or even a constitutional directive to abolish the castes through compulsory inter- caste wedding.
WHO OPPOSED DR. AMBEDKAR?
Do you know who opposed it?
Not the SC/ST/BCs in parliament. It was opposed by the Brahmins only.
All these are historical facts which are hidden from your eyes and ears – to mislead youths like you.
Since the university syllabus, manufactured by these very people, does not mention all these facts and your teachers do not know it, young, innocent students like you are deprived of knowing not only this truth but all historical truths.
This is the tragedy of this country. And the consequences are disastrous. And this disaster has pushed India from the Third World to the Fourth
Casteism to be precise the caste system is the greatest killer.
My book on caste, Caste-A Nation Within the Nation, (Books for Change, Bangalore, 2002, Rs. 140) won an international award in London (LISA award). But all those newspapers and socialists and marxists, who mouth revolutionary slogans against caste totally blacked out my book.
Why. Because all casteists are afraid of truth.
Suppressing truth and justice is part of the upper caste (ruling class) game of which all of us are victims.
Very harsh statement but unfortunately true.
WHO CREATED THE CASTE?
To be precise caste is different. And caste system is different. Caste is our identity.
Tribal society will be a good example to convince you. About 10% of India’s population is tribal. You have lots of Mongoloid students from North East. All of them are tribals.
These tribals can be called as India’s purest people.
Why? Because they live outside this contaminated gas chamber called the caste society or the caste system.
The tribal society is a parallel society unlike the Hindu caste society which is vertical.
In a tribal society every caste is equal to the other. There is no first class or 2nd class person.
But in a Hindu society based on the caste system, everybody is not equal. It is a vertical society.
The Hindu caste-ridden society is divided top to bottom. Ascending order of reverence, descending degree of contempt.
In this caste society we have five main divisions that resemble a pyramid.
In the caste society or to put it correctly, under the caste system, the castes are graded. There is a hierarchy.: 1st class person. 2nd class person and so on.
The Brahmin is the holiest, most sacred. So he stands at the top as the apex of the caste pyramid.
There is none above him. He is born from the head, the Dalit from the feet.
CASTE SYSTEM & THE GITA
Only the Brahmin man is holy-but not the Brahmin woman not his wife or mother.
According to the Brahmin scriptures the caste system was created by the god himself. So none has the power to touch it.
God Krishna says this in the Bhagavad Gita itself and hence no human being has the right to correct it not to speak of abolishing it. Gandhi hailed the Gita as the holiest book.
Why the caste system Varnashrama Dharma) cannot be abolished? Because if the hierarchically arranged caste system goes, the worst affected will be the Brahmin
GANDHI DEFENDED CASTE SYSTEM
It has brought great economic benefits to the upper caste. I will give the example of Bangalore City. Here 30% of the people, slum dwellers, are denied water supply so that we get plenty of water even to waste. Bangalore today has 1,500 slums. This is one of the many economic advantages of caste.
Today, the Brahmin is universally recognised as the “holy man” from which flows his supreme status and the right to exploit the rest of the humans. Dr. Ambedkar, whom we describe as the “Father of India”, demanded annihilation of the caste system as early as 1932.
But it was Gandhi, the so-called Father of the nation, who defended the caste system.
But the Brahmins were the only people who opposed abolition of the caste system.
Even today they are the only people opposing it and scuttling every scheme to dent the caste system.
Why the Brahmins are opposing the caste system? This is a top secret which you will never know. Truth is not easily available in Hindu India. You have to go in search of truth. I found the Truth when I reached the age of 43 or so when I was in the Indian Express here.
IF CASTE GOES BRAHMINISM IS DEAD
Brahmins are against the destruction of the caste system because if the caste goes, Brahminism is dead. If you abolish the caste system, from vertical the society becomes horizontal. All become equal. Upper caste monopoly is dead.
This may come as a shocking statement. Yes indeed. I don’t think you have heard it or read it anywhere. A deadly disease needs a more deadly medicine.
This statement almost amounts to blasphemy. I was arrested four times for telling the truth.
SUPREME TRUTH
Yet it remains the supreme truth. I have said it hundreds of times in Dalit Voice and in many of my speeches. None challenged it. None questioned it. Because it is the supreme Truth.
The Brahmin status and all that goes with his supreme status is solely because of this supreme status. This status will simply die once we kill the caste system.
Caste, therefore, means status, privileges, properties, positions – and the divine power to oppress the rest. Ascending order of reverence and descending degree of contempt. What a horrible society we have built. Because we all live in this stinking toilet, we got accustomed to the stink – since centuries. And became the laughing stock of the world.
HINDU LOGIC
Who is sweeping the roads of entire Bangalore city, carrying the dirt, cleaning the shit and the stinking drainage pipes ? The Untouchables. They belong to the lowest caste – the Madiga. The Madiga is also the lowest paid because his caste is the lowest. And hence the most despised. Hated. Your pay also depends on the status of your caste.
He has to do the dirtiest job and die early. No regrets. Because the caste is a divine creation, the Madiga has to suffer it with a smile. That is his karma. What wonderful argument.
The Brahmin has to do the highest job and get the highest pay because he is at the top of the jati ladder. This is the Hindu logic.
CASTE KILLS YOUR CONSCIENCE
Just look at the lawyers agitation that is going on in our High Court today against the Chief Justice Dinakaran – just because he is Dalit
The Brahmin and other upper castes are opposed to the abolition of caste system because if the caste system goes, all their status, their position, glamour, comforts, false prestige, all that goes with it are dead. Who is ready to put a dagger into his own stomach? This pyramid-shaped caste system is kept safe by the exploiters in all the castes from top to bottom.
The woman is the worst sufferer -including the Brahmin woman. The pity is she does not realise it as it is given the religious cloak.
What is most important is that the caste system kills your very conscience. That is how this whole country of 1,300 millions is so timid, lifeless, dying. None has the courage to protest any injustice. The millions of subjugated people silently suffer because the caste system (varnashrama dharma) has crushed our conscience itself.
These hypocritical upper castes who unfortunately are our rulers, teachers, journalists, judges etc. however say that caste must go but at the same time doing everything to keep the caste pyramid intact.
CASTE MADE THEM RULERS
Did any upper caste “saint” say the caste system must go? Did Gandhi criticise the caste system? No.
But the Dalit Voice alone says the caste system must go.
You, young people, also did not realise the complexity of the subject because of your urban background and your upper caste status. You did not choose your parents. I know that. You are also born in a caste but you did not know its complications.
All the people who belong to the upper castes Brahmin, Vokkaliga and Lingayat-in Karnataka want their caste status.
Because it is this status that brought them property, position and made them the rulers.
UDHA OPPOSED CASTE SYSTEM
In Kerala, the rulers are the Nairs, Syrians and Brahmins. The Ezhavas despite being 30% are slaves. In AP, it is the Brahmin, Reddis and Khammas. Maharashtra, it is the Marathas In
Budha was India’s first person to demand destruction of the caste system. Brahmins revolted against him, destroyed Budhism itself and finally drove it out of India.
All those who opposed the caste system were hated, boycotted, their name made mud and finally killed. Phule, Periyar and Bhim Rao Ambedkar all suffered.
India before the entry of Brahmins (or Aryans) was a country of hundreds of tribes-like the African continent which even to this day is a tribal society in which every tribe is equal to the other tribe. There is no ascending order of reverence or descending degree of contempt as in a caste society.
In a tribal society there is no dominant tribe or a servile tribe. All are equal.
The Brahmins, who are invaders re- arranged the egalitarian tribal society into a hierarchically graded society resembling a pyramid. This is the beginning of the fall of India.
MEDHA PATKAR & ARUNDATI ROY
As long as India is steeped in caste system it will continue to fall and stink. It will have no future.
The liberation of woman, including the Brahmin woman, will begin with the destruction of the caste system the curse of India. Our current caste-based India is helping only the top 15% upper castes.
Medha Patkar, a Marathi Brahmin, and Arundati Roy, a Syrian Christian from Kerala, are paraded as great human rights leaders and feminist fighters. Fine. But did Medha or Arundati ever criticise Brahminism, demanded destruction of the caste system or criticise the Gita or Gandhi? Never. They dare not. How can they be called human rights fighters when they are not fighting the caste system. All of you are PG students and the majority here are women. Can’t you think for yourself? Am I right or wrong?
What is the implication of the destruction of caste system? It means death of Hinduism. To be precise: Brahminism or the vaidik dharma. India will then become healthy, wealthy and wise once the caste stink is cleansed.
CASTE AMONG NON-HINDUS
The charge against Dr. Ambedkar, Mahatma Phule, Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy and Dalit Voice is we are criticising only the Brahmins and Brahminism. We are dubbed anti-Brahmin. But what is the real meaning of anti- Brahmin? Anti-Brahmin means you are pro-human. All anti- Brahmins are humanists.
In this extraordinary topsy- turvey society that we live in India today, those who work for the destruction of the unequal, exploitative, racist caste system are called anti-human and anti-national. Look at the perversion of logic itself. Brahminism is killing us and the country.
This is because upper castes (Hindus) led by Brahmins are controlling our entire media, education system. Nay our very thinking, value system itself. That is the cause of India’s steep fall and the country being hated by all the neighbors.
Caste is not confined to Hindus alone. It is found even in egalitarian religions like Islam, Christianity and Sikhism. Even Budhism.
The Hindu stink has spread all over. The population percentage of each caste (varna) within this Hindu pyramid is again a top secret: Nobody will tell you this (See table).
These statistics are very often repeated in Dalit Voice and my speeches. To this day nobody has contradicted us.
We Dalits are the worst victims of this caste system because we carry the weight of the whole of this Hindu human pyramid. That is how our leader, Bhimrao Ambedkar, revolted against the caste system and came to be hailed as the “Father of India”.
It is only the Untouchable community could produce such a great revolutionary. He not only made the constitution of India, but tore Hinduism to pieces and became the bitterest critic of the Brahmins and their protector M.K. Gandhi. His name will forever remain in the history of India and the world.
But the ruling upper castes did not heed the warnings of Bhimrao Ambedkar and as a consequence India got divided in 1947.
Hence it is necessary to study and understand the difference between the caste and the caste system. The caste system is like a pyramid.
DICTATORS OF OUR DESTINY
The first three castes (varnas) under category-1 are the real rulers. They are the dwijas (twice born) and the biggest property-holders, controllers of all divine power, holding all powerful posts dictators of our destiny.
In other words what are popularly called the “public opinion” is the opinion of this micro-minority 5%
dwijas.
We must destroy their monopoly, topple the human pyramid and make it flat where everybody is equal. That is socialism. It is not enough if you talk socialism and practice imperialism.
We who belong to the have-not big majority (85%), must fight for justice: To each according to his needs and from each according to his ability.
This is marxism. In a democracy, the majority must rule. If India is a democracy, what we say is right.
The naxalites or maoists, who are being gunned down in Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Bengal, AP etc. are demanding only justice. But they are being killed.
TOP SECRET
There is yet another serious dimension to the havoc played by the caste (casteism or Hinduism). Nobody will tell you this because these are all top secrets.
There may be some Muslims or Christians among students in your college. Did these Muslims come from Arabia, Turkey or Iran? Did these Christians come from Rome? No. If so, how did they become Muslim and Christians? Kerala is the best example to prove this point. The state has 25% Muslims and 25% Christians – highest percentage of non-Hindus in India. How this happened?
If the Muslims form 25% of Kerala population, it is because they got disgusted with the caste system and the oppressed got converted to Islam. What is wrong in that?
BRAHMINS BECAME CHRISTIANS
Your Principal, Rev. Ambrose Pinto and Professor Melwyn Pinto, did not come from Rome. Their ancestors were Saraswat Brahmins. Why did their Brahmin ancestors desert the burning house? To save themselves. Hinduism is becoming not only weak – morally and intellectually-but also numerically.
According to the Hindu terrorist RSS itself by the middle of 2050, India will have 50% Muslims and 25% Christians. Wonderful. We welcome it.
SHUDRA MUSCLE POWER
That means India will cease to be a Hindu nation. Wonderful.
The controllers of the Hindu religion, which is the other name for caste system, must realise the danger to their own religion and dismantle the barbarous system called Hindu religion as early as possible. If they refuse to set fire to this stinking dung heap, nobody will remain inside it. Like the cats fleeing the burning boat, there will be none left in this burning Hindu Rashtra.
But we have our own doubts about wisdom dawning upon these pig- headed people.
One of the most serious implications of the caste system is that the political power has passed into the hands of the numerically strong shudra castes.
