Dalit Voice is full of criticisms about Brahmins whom you call as India’s ruling class. But there are any number of poor-among the Brahmins including myself.

This is the a familiar song, in our school and coffee days, we used to read any number of story books beginning with the sentence: “Once upon a time there lived a poor Brahmin Poverty is always associated with Brahmins so that such repetitions will leave a permanent impression on young minds that the Brahmins. indeed are poor. Repeat a le 99 times and it becomes truth of the 100th time But the fact is the Brahmins are the unquestioned rulers of the land. Forget about this fact, let us accept your own version. Granmins and their parties ruled India trying to convince us that there are any number of poor among Brahmins. So saying thay ruled India for 62 years. Yet they could not eradicate the poverty of their own caste people. How can they lift others?-EDITOR
