Bangalore: As the parliament election is nearing, the Hindu nazi party with no constructive programme to relieve the sufferings of the “Persecuted Nationalities Denied Human Rights”, has started whipping up anti-Muslim emotions. The chief weapon in their armour is cow slaughter which can be used to Rouse the poor, ignorant slaves and make them attack Muslims. When the Dalits attack Muslims; their own brothers, “Hindu unity” is achieved.
By using this emotional trump card, the nazis came to power in Gujarat, UP and other parts. But Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar has’ cited many passages from ‘ the Brahminical “sacred books” about rampant cow-killings during the Vedic period when the right of ‘eating beef was reserved exclusively for the vaidiks. If these are facts of history how the same vaidiks are today demanding ban on cow Killing? This falls under the Law of Contradictions on which the vaidiks are the experts.
The following quotations from Dr. Ambedkar’s famous book, The Untouchables, are taken from the Vol.7 of the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Writings & Speeches Published by the Maharashtra Govt. (1990): –
Chapter XI – Did Hindus Never Eat Beef? (p.323 para 1 line:5):
“When the learned Brahmins argue that the Hindus not only never ate beef, but they always held the cow to be sacred and were always opposed to the killing of the cow, it is impossible to accept their view.”
MADHUPARKA MEANS COW’S MEAT
- 324, para 7:
In Rig Veda (X:86.14) Indra says: – “They cook for one 15 plus twenty oxen”. The Rig Veda (X.91.14) says that Agni was sacrificed horses, bulls, oxen, barren cows and rams. From Rig Veda (x.72.6) it appears that the cow was killed with a sword or axe.
Para 9 of p.324 gives description of the type of cow to be sacrificed.
P.325 para 3:
“The second is the prescription of Madhuparka contained in the Grahya Suttra. Among the Aryans…”
(This entire para and next para also).
- 326, para 1:
“Thus, the essential element in Madhuparka is flesh and particularly cow’s flesh.”
Para 3 of Apastamba Dharma sutra” Description of the contents and procedure of preparing Madhuparka, continued p. 327- 328.
Satapatha Brahmana was really addressed to Yajnavalkya as ‘an exhortation. How did Yagnavalkya respond? After listening to the exhortation, this Yagnavalkya said: – is what
“I for one, eat it, provided that
it is tender”. (p. 328).
(Yagnavalkya is a great rishi of the Aryans).
BRAHMINS WERE GREATEST BEEF-EATERS
Last para on p. 328:
”With this evidence no one can doubt that there was a time when Hindus — both Brahmins and Non: Brahmins —ate not_ only flesh but also beef.”
Chapter XIII p. 334, para 2, second sentence:
For as has been shown in the previous chapters there was a time when Brahmins were the greatest beefeaters…. Atreya Brahmana touching the killing of animals in a Yajna.
Para 3: description of Yajna, continued from p. 335 to 341.
p.342: Manu Smriti. V.32 to 42 are important.
- 343, first para:
”Manu goes further and makes eating of flesh compulsory.
Note the following verse: V.35:
But a man who, being duly engaged (to officiate or to dine at a sacred rite), refuses to eat meat, becomes after death an animal during twenty-one existences”.
MANU SAYS COW IS NOT SACRED
Further about cow (p. 343 continued):
“… Manu did not regard the cow as a sacred animal. On the other hand, he regarded it as an impure animal whose touch caused ceremonial pollution.”
The last line in p. 343:
” If that is so, it follows that Manu knew that Brahmins did eat beef, and he had no objection to it.”
- 344 (first line):
“… Manu’s discussion of animals whose meat is eatable and those whose meat is not.
Chapter V.18, p.344:
“… Manu gives general permission to eat the flesh of all domestic animals… Manu had no objection to eating the cow’s flesh”.
EAT BEEF TO DEFEAT BRAHMINISM
- 844 (para 4, first sentence):
“Many did not make killing of cow an offence.”
Same page, para 7 (last line):
“The same was the attitude of Yajnavalkya”.
- 345, para 2, line 4:
The Brahadarnyaka Upanishad upholds the doctrine of transmigration (vi.2) and yet recommends that if a man desires to have a learned son born to him, he should prepare a mass of the flesh of the bull or ox or of other flesh with rice and ghee.”
- 345, para 3:
To my mind, it was strategy which made the Brahmins to give up beef-eating and start worshipping the cow
Babasaheb says Brahmins started worshipping cow to defeat Budhism and as a strategy to establish their supremacy over Budhism.
In other words, the Untouchables can not only revive Budhism but also defeat Brahminism if they start eating beef.
