Dhaka: A movement called the Sub-Continent Resurrection Movement (SRM) aimed at furthering a voluntary grand congress of all the nations of South Asia was floated here recently with Amanullah and Shafiul Alam as the president and the general secretary respectively.
Bangladesh, India and Pakistan should go back to August 13 1947 and restore undivided India to materialise the hopes and aspirations of over one billion people of the region, the leading daily Star reported. (Hindustan Times, Jan. 1)
