Bangalore: Babri Masjid has for the first time brought the revolutionary Muslim masses to the forefront pushing the discredited elite leadership to the background. This rotten leadership is not ready to listen to anybody even the most venerated Ali Miyan of Lucknow. On Jan. 8, 1993, he brought a Dalit leader, Ram Vilas Paswan. yet, the Muslim masses were not in a mood to listen. They refused to hear Paswan’s pussyfooting. They asked him a straight question: “Do you agree for construction of Babri Masjid its original place? Say, yes or no and then proceed”.
Which politician has the courage to answer yes or no. Paswan started dillydallying again and that is why he was shouted down. Ali Miyan, perhaps for the first time in his life, got a shock. He was too shouted down when he tried to pacify the masses. Ali Miyan’s prestige received the biggest jolt of his life. Self-defense: As we were still pondering over this great change of circumstances, defeats and debacles of hitherto well-known scholars, we had a solace that Ali Miyan atlas saw the writings on the wall. He became bold at least at the far end of his life to stress the need for self-defense for peace. He has taken the advice of the outspoken, straight forward servants of Muslims-Sulaiman Sait and Salahuddin Owaisi, both from South, to reorganize the Muslim Personal Law Board, bidding a goodbye to his UP elite Muslim, empty but arrogant, leadership. The best-ever resolution by Muslims after 1947 was passed by the MPL Board on Babri Masjid that sent shockwaves among Hindu nazis.
Will the MPL Board continue sincerely with its new-found revolutionary fervor to satisfy the mortified Muslim masses or die like the. Majlisi Mushawrat’s? We are carefully watching.
